Military-friendly job fair April 11

The Corporate Gray Job Fair for the Military Community is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 11 at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland. This free event is open to all separating, retiring, former, and retired military personnel of all ranks and services. Members of the Reserves and National Guard, adult family members, and civilians are also welcome.

Participating employers include Lockheed Martin, BoozAllen, Defense Intelligence Agency, ManTech International, FBI, State Farm Insurance, Raytheon, General Dynamics, National Security Agency, Constellation Energy, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, local police departments and many others.

These companies have many types of positions available, and are looking for people with a diverse set of skills and experience. More than 50 companies and government agencies have already registered. A complete list is available at http://www.CorporateGray.com.

Free, one-hour presentations are at 8 and 9 a.m., before the job fair, including “How to Work a Job Fair,” “Secrets of Interviewing,” “Job Fair Follow-up to Maximize your ROI” and “Writing Your Military-to-Federal Resume.”

Job-seekers should dress in business attire or duty uniform and bring many copies of their resumes.
