Troops to Teachers has a seminar, “Teaching as a Second Career,” May 12 at 12:30 p.m., in Room 144 of Barden Education Center, 9625 Belvoir Road.

Fort Belvoir participates in the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce’s Richmond Highway Spring Cleanup April 24. Interested volunteers are asked to call Pauline Hunter, 805-2034.

Registration is open for summer sessions. A 12-week session runs from May 17 to Aug. 9 NOVA also offers two, six-week sessions during the summer, which begin May 17 and June 29. Classes are open to everyone. NOVA has distance learning, hybrid classes and flexible schedules.

Easter Buffet will be served at the Officers’ Club April 4 in the Mount Vernon Room.  Seatings are available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
