Wood Theater temporarily closed

Fort Belvoir’s Wood Theater is closed through Nov. 27 for renovations and upgrades.

AMC hosts NSPS town hall

Headquarters, Army Materiel Command held a National Security Personnel System video teleconference Oct. 31 for headquarters and major subordinate command employees.

Childcare program thanks families, providers

Fort Belvoir’s Family Child Care Program thanked families and childcare providers with a feast and entertainment at the Sosa Community Center Nov. 2.

Thanksgiving program seeks helpers

Belvoir teacher honored for classroom creativity

Dancing and singing into the hearts of students, Fort Belvoir Elementary School kindergarten teacher Nancy Lexo is creatively enhancing learning in the classroom. Because of her unique approach to teaching, the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts in Reston, Va., recently recognized Lexo for her outstanding initiatives with the Wolf Trap Teacher Award. 

Congress passes act to limit payday, predatory loans
