Belvoir Bowhunters to host weekend night shoot, 3D shoot and pig roast

By Richard M. Atchison
Special to the Eagle

The Belvoir Bowhunters will hold a series of events this weekend.

A night shoot is Friday evening on the outdoor 8-point fixed target range. During this event, the archer has a flashlight, bow and arrow and must shoot at targets at unknown ranges.

At 7 a.m. Saturday, the Bowhunters begin placing targets for a 3D shoot using rubber animals. Twenty-five targets will be positioned at unknown ranges on the Outdoor Recreation walk-through range. The competition begins at 9 a.m. with the last contestant entering the course at 11 a.m.

All archers will be treated to roast pig and novelty shoots, and the event is open to the public.
