The Fort Belvoir men’s basketball team had early success in last weekend’s Washington Area Military Athletic Conference Tournament, opening with a victory over Bolling/Anacostia by a score of 70-64. They would lose to eventual tournament champion Quantico, 90-79, in the second round and finish the weekend with a fifth-place finish.

Last year, the Lady Eagles post basketball team finished second in the Washington Area Military Athletic Conference tournament and vowed to take the top spot the following season.
