Dunkin’ Donuts to close
The North Post Dunkin’ Donuts, inside the Class VI store, closes tomorrow at noon for remodeling, which is scheduled to continue through September. During the remodeling, all Dunkin’ Donuts services are available at the South Post store on Gunston Road.

Traffic Advisory
Electrical and retaining wall work will cause single-lane closures on I-95 tomorrow from Exit 166 at Route 7100, Fairfax County Parkway to Exit 160 at Route123, Gordon Boulevard. A southbound lane closes from 8:30 a.m. to noon and a northbound lane from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Additionally, pile driving and material movement closes the westbound lane of Route 642, Lorton Road, from Gunston Cove Road to Silverbrook Road 9:30 a.m. to noon.
The construction work is part of the Virginia Department of Transportation’s I-95 widening project.

Pooch Plunge
Bring man’s Best Friend for a day of fun, games, and contests 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Satur-
day at Pool 1.
Only dogs will be allowed in the pool.
“People food” will be available for purchase, and kids’ games will be provided.
The event costs $3 per dog for pool fees and $1 for pictures with pets.

Newcomers Briefing
A Fort Belvoir Newcomers’ Briefing is Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. in the multipurpose room at Barden Education Center. All newly assigned military personnel, family members, and civilians are invited to learn about the community. Call no later than Wednesday to make reveservations for free childcare. For more information or to make reservations, call 805-5058. Newcomers’ briefings are the first Monday of each month, except for holidays. The next briefing is Oct. 6.
