Transportation survey coming
A week-long transportation survey, open to all Fort Belvoir employees, will be available from Sept. 11 to 18. The survey will be available at http://www.belvoirnewvision.com and will focus on commuting and on-post transportation issues.
The information gathered will assist installation planners in making critical decisions about future transportation opportunities on post.

BOWC Super sign-up
The Belvoir Officer’s Wives’ Club hosts its annual Super Sign-Up membership drive Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Belvoir Officers’ Club’s Mount Vernon Room.
Club members and those interested in becoming members may meet with military representatives from the Belvoir community and learn about the aspects of the club.

Troops, Spouses to Teachers programs
A presentation about the Troops to Teachers and Spouses to Teachers programs is Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Room 102 of Barden Education Center. TTT provides a $5,000 stipend to pay for any approved teacher licensure program, in any state, at any accredited college to military personnel with bachelor’s degrees. STT offers up to $600 to reimburse participants for required tests leading to a teaching license.

Protestant Women of the Chapel
The PWOC’s fall kick-off, “At the Redeemer’s Feet,” is 9:30 a.m. today in Belvoir Chapel, with free childcare for ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Home-school room is available for school-age children. Parents are asked to bring work for the children.
Registration for the PWOC International Conference, Nov. 13 to 16 in Dallas, is due by Sept. 18.
