Self-defense class
Family Advocacy presents a class for Domestic Violence Prevention Month.
A self-defense class is at 11 a.m. Friday at Wells Field House. Participants can learn skills, techniques and methods to defend themselves.
Eric and Julie Divine teach the class, which is free.

Fall Festival
The Fall Festival, an annual alternative for Halloween, is at the Religious Education Center, Bldg. 1028, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a special event for junior and senior high school youth, downstairs in the Belvoir Chapel. Everyone is welcome.

BOSS Halloween Bash
A Boss-sponsored Halloween Bash is Friday at the community club. The event includes a costume contest, food and DJ Alvin Isom.
The event is $10 in advance; $10 at the door with a costume; $15 without costume.
Doors open at 9 p.m. and the party ends at 1 a.m.
