Up Front for April 15

Administrative Professionals Day/Denim Day
Treat your admin to a lunch at the Officers’ Club to thank them for all they do with an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch April 21. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and includes an omelet bar, Belgian waffle station and more.

April 21 is also Denim Day, a day of support for Sexual Assault Awareness. The dress code will be relaxed for the lunch to allow show of support for Denim Day.

Lock-in Around the World
In celebration of the Month of the Military Child, the CYS Services Youth Center has a lock-in April 17 at from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., and joins centers around the world that are also having lock-ins.

Family campouts are back
The first campout of the season is scheduled April 16 to 18. Families are invited to pitch their tents on the field next to the Outdoor Recreation Building at Tompkins Basin and sleep under the stars.
Daytime and evening family activities are planned throughout the weekend, including cooking S’mores over the campfire.

The cost of $5 per person includes tent space, fishing equipment, a scavenger hunt, sporting equipment and S’mores. Camping equipment is available to rent at ODR. Information is available by calling 703-805-3081.
