Christian college presentation
A representative from Valley Forge Christian College provides a briefing on its programs and financial aid available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Barden Education Center.
VFCC is accredited by The Middle States Association of College and Schools and is certified by The State Council of Higher Education of Virginia.
The school offers degrees in theology, business administration, elementary education and more. The campus is at 13909 Smoketown Road, Woodbridge, Va., 22192.

Babysitter training
Fort Belvoir’s American Red Cross Office offers Babysitter Training, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Freedom Fest
Fort Belvoir’s MWR’s annual Freedom Fest is July 4 at P-2 Field on Route 1. The event, from 5 to 9:30 p.m., includes music, food, vendors, family fun and fireworks. The event is open to eligible MWR patrons, including Soldiers, families, DoD civilians and contractors, and not to the general public.
Vehicles will not be permitted on festival grounds. Personal fireworks, sparklers and glass bottles are prohibited.
In inclement weather, the fireworks display is at 9:30 p.m. July 5. People interested in attending should call the Fort Belvoir Hotline, 703-805-3030, if there is inclement weather.
