Volunteer appreciation
Belvoir’s Volunteer Appreciation Recognition luncheon is today from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Officers’ Club.

Blood drive
In celebration of 2009 National Medical Laboratory Professional’s Week, DeWitt Army Community Hospital’s Department of Pathology and The Armed Forces Blood Program have a blood drive at DeWitt Friday from 8 a.m. to noon in the main conference room.
The goal for the drive is 80 units.
Drop-ins are welcome.

Annual cleanup
The Annual Route 1 Cleanup will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m in the Community Center parking lot. Volunteers will get reflective vests, trash bags and assignments. Volunteers should dress in appropriate civilian attire, including comfortable shoes and gloves.
Refreshments provided after registration.

International spouses
The International Spouse Group meets Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Vernondale Village Community Center, 9532 Troth Way.
The group has information on Army Community Service programs, English as a Second Language, citizenship, jobs, the Metro and more.
