In India, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency, that started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). A Common Written Examination (CWE) has been announced by the IBPS for the selection Clerks and Officers in Indian banks.
The agency recruitment for PSBs follows 2 or 3 tier scheme. IBPS, this year has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts. Candidates in huge numbers applied and appeared for the preliminary and main exam.

The main examination is conducted for 200 marks and the duration of the exam is 2hours. There is a 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. On 31st October 2015, Aspirants who had appeared for the main exam can get their results soon. Category Wise Total Expected Cut-Off 2015:
The cut off has been set as one-fourth of standard deviation for the General & OBC categories and three-fourth of standard deviation for SC/ST categories. In order to qualify for the interview, the candidates must score the minimum qualifying score as decided by IBPS. There will be a second level cutoff point on total as per requirement.

your prediction can’t be true…..paper was tough this time..and accordingly, how can the cut off be so high?..specially the reasoning part..it was terrible for many ….
Correct monika..paper was too tough so cut off should be in the range of 60-70.

Well yeah paper was tough but it wasn’t that tough it was just bit tougher than last year but reasoning sectional cut off will not fall below 11-12 for sure

If paper was very tough than why 70? It was 61 in 2013 when the paper wasn’t tough as this time but yes competition is getting tougher day bay day so i will say it will be around 65-67

Ibps never publishes result at mid night.sat and sun are holidays for ibps.so no there is no chance of publishing on nov 14.if u have any doubts regarding results ,u can call ibps.they wil clarify u about result date

don’t provide unnecessary information stupid..friends don’t worry about the result declaration date. it will be good for every one may be this time or soon. I come across with some my IBPS working friends they said cut off would be 60 – 70 for gen, result may be declare on third week of November even they are not sure about that means they were in IBPS but not in that department that’s why, so don’t get tensed be cool it will be best for all.

Guys don’t waste your precious time. Let IBPS declare the result with a good news for everyone whenever they want. Though there is some tension, it is not in your hand now. Prepare very hard for the next exam like clerk, SBI associates, specialist officer, any other exams etc. Your result status won’t be changed if you get to know it after 2-3 days of declaration. So be cool, and concentrate on apti, reasoning, English etc..
