Airlift movie has got good word of mouth it is moving better at the box office after collecting 100 crores by the second weekend at the box office. It is clashing with Saala Khadoos and Mastizaade from the second weekend onwards after facing such competition Airlift movie is scaled good which proved content matters at the box office again after Bajirao Mastani movie.

It crossed 100 crores mark just in a span of 10 days, Bollywood trade analyst added, Airlift movie is all set to cross 100 Cr in order to remain top in the movies released for the year 2016. His last movies Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore and Holiday minted 100 crores and now Airlift also.
Airlift movie is expected to mint 5 crores minimum on the 11th day of release at the box office.

Akshay Kumar responded about box office collections, “The results speaks for the film. I am very happy with the response and it encourages me to make and be a part of such cinema. This kind of films did not have many prospects when it comes to numbers at the box office. Looking at the numbers, I feel I should try more of these kinds of films… Bring real life of people on real life.”
