Jai Gangaajal is not a sequel to Gangaajal but is an original story which deals with a lady cop who fights for the right reasons. Earlier we saw female cop stories like Mardaani starring Rani Mukherjee, the movie is produced by Prakash Jha under Prakash Jha films production company and is going to hit the screens on 4th March 2016. Prakash Jha took the works of Direction, Production, Screenplay and Story of Jai Gangaajal. He managed all the things like one man army so that the credit will be added to the account of Prakash Jha. It depends on the word of mouth.

Jai Gangaajal stands for Hali Holy Waters, It is Indian Hindi action drama film directed by Prakash Jha, This is the sequel to Gangaajal movie. Quantico Priyanka Chopra brought into this project, and She recently appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani movie. Prakash Jha will be supporting her in the film. Priyanka Chopra is playing the role of SP Abha Mathur as a first female SP for the region of Bankipur district in Bihar state, Prakash Jha will be seen as Bhola Nath Singh aka B. N. Singh. Manav Kaul as Local MLA acting in the role of henchmen of Lakhisarai district.
Gangaajal movie brought the memories back, It has a good story line and definitely will feel patriotic towards India, Overall Jai Gangaajal is said to be a wholesome entertainer. While coming to songs already became super hit. The movie has 11 soundtracks which are composed by Salim-Sulaiman. Makers kept enormous expectations on the film after gaining positive word of mouth when the released the trailer for the movie.
It got controversy from the Patna High Court on this Friday to the filmmaker Prakash Jha and filed a petition by BJP MLA for imaging the film negatively.
Priyanka shared behind-the-scene video from the sets of the movie on Twitter and wrote, “#JaiGangaajal was an incredible experience especially because I had the opportunity to work with such excellent actors (sic).” The movie has got ‘A’ Certificate from the regional censor board.
Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra promoting this film in Miami, She added about her interest in the film on her Twiter account, “Thank God got technology! Press conference for #jaigangaajalmarch4th from Miami to Delhi! #prakashJha #rahulbhat #manavKaul.” Most of the film were shot in Bhopal, and It was shot at Jama Masjid Chowk bazaar in the old Bhopal.
