Sreenu Vaitla wife Roopa withdraws harassment case

Indian Film director Srinu Vaitla is apprehended after filing a case by his wife Roopa for harassing her. He started his career with nee Kosam movie with Ravi Teja and Maheswari in the year 1999. So far he made 17 movies in the Telugu film industry.

Santoshi Rupa filed a case on him on Oct 15 and later she withdrawn the case. Rupa went to the police station of Banjara Hills, she left from her house which is located at Journalist’s Colony in Jubilee Hills and went to stay with her parents who are living in Yosufguda.

Inspector P Murali Krishna added, “Based on the complaint lodged by Rupa, we have registered a case against Sreenu Vaitla under section 498-A (subjecting a married woman to cruelty) of the IPC.”

He also received many awards for Best Director like Nandi Award, Filmfare Award, CinemAA Award, South Indian International Movie Awards. On October 16, Rupa went to station with a lawyer to withdraw the case filed on him, Inspector added, “We will counsel the couple and decide about the future course of action.”

Rupa married Srinu Vaitla 10 years ago, they have 3 children also, Banjara Hills Inspector P. Murali Krishna said, “In pursuance with the guidelines, we had held a counselling session for Sreenu Vaitla and his wife, and will inform the court about it.”

Srinu Vaitla became popular with Dookudu, Baadshah, Agadu and recently released movie Bruce Lee- The Fighter in which Chiranjeevi appeared in cameo role. The couple appeared in many film functions, it is surprising to the family members of them.
