The unions have demanded a boycott of his movies after Tarantino allegedly used the word “murders” for the policemen at a rally that was held to protest police brutality that occurred in New York City on the weekend.

The first to call for a boycott against Tarantino films was the New York union after the director on October 24 protested the death of unarmed suspects by the hands of the police.

The unions have gotten together and have decided to boycott Tarantino’s movie just ahead of the release of the Oscar winning director’s latest movie The Hateful Eight that is slated for a Christmas release later this year. The movie is about post American Civil War bounty hunters of Wyoming.

This movie will be release post a number of hits that the director has already delivered, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction that won Tarantino Oscars and more awards globally.

“The police officers that Quentin Tarantino calls ‘murderers’ aren’t living in one of his depraved big screen fantasies - they’re risking and sometimes sacrificing their lives to protect communities from real crime and mayhem,” said Mr Lynch.
