Over the next six days in Bihar, PM Modi will address 17 more rallies beginning Sunday, Schedule for these rallies, still the remaining three phases of polling is left in Bihar, which was written on the advertisements placed by the party in newspapers today.
Sources in the party ahead of the polls had said that the Modi would address about seven to eight rallies before every phase of polling that is left in the state. Before each phase, PM Modi had reportedly allotted two days to address a blitz of rallies.
Party chief Amit Shah at a rally in Patna earlier this week faced many questions on the PM’s absence from campaigning for almost nine days. Shah replied, he said “Sometimes I don’t understand what your agenda is. Not one question here is on Bihar’s development. Why are you not asking me questions on bijli-paani?”
“There is a big gap in the elections, there are so many festivals, no rallies have been curtailed,” he added.
“The BJP has been deflated. They are bringing Hema Malini now, as if she will get victory for them,” said RJD Chief Lalu Prasad. Mr Prasad’s son and the party’s candidate from Raghopur, Tejaswi Yadav, said, “The BJP is trying to decide whom they should pin the loss on.”
Few BJP leaders, had raised questions, that includes dissenter Shatrughan Sinha, who tweeted two days ago: “A situation that led our star campaigner PM to cancel his Bihar rallies at the last minute…sending a negative message???”
For the first two phases, PM Modi has already addressed nine rallies in Bihar. If the current schedule go as planned which means he will address a total of 26 rallies for Bihar, which is more than what he had addressed for Maharashtra.
