RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat: India’s image globally has improved

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat in his Vijayadashmi speech said that there is new hope in India as our country is poised to become the leader of the world in coming days.

Addressing a mammoth ‘Vijaydashami Utsav’ gathering, Bhagwat said, “Two years ago, there was an atmosphere of disappointment, now there is a feeling of hope.”

“The primary thing to think about is how to make India a leading nation in the world. A new idea of India is rising in the world. Whenever there is a crisis situation in the world, we come forth to help,” he said, adding that we should take in whatever is good from all over the world for our nation.

RSS chief said that the countries around the world is now expecting that the ‘new India’ will show the way, mostly the developing nations thinks our country as the leader of the group and for the ‘new India’ the first thing required is that we get out of mental slavery.

“Raavan was a great king, Ram sent Laxman to him to learn how to rule a kingdom. And yet today, we talk about how Ram ruled…Today we want Ram Rajya not Ravan Rajya in India,” he said.

Bhagwat even stressed that the aim should be not just be material growth of a person but spiritual growth.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also attended the RSS function.

Narendra Modi, Indian PM also extended his greetings to all Swayamsevaks on the 90th foundation day of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
