An official statement is released by the Huawei company on their Facebook Page which said, “A surprise to make the holiday season merry and bright – announcing Android M for #honor7!
If you own an honor 7, you can now register for the OTA update. ”

The users are asked to register with their details for their updates on the Honor 7 smartphone. The users have to fill a form that contains the software version, IMEI number, email address and contact number. The users will get a notification of the update after 24-48 hours of submitting the form.

The new features offered by the update are yet to be known. How the features of Huawei will be available with the new Android 6.0 is yet to be revealed by the company. If what we hear is true, some of the features are the google Now on Tap Search assistant, app permissions, app linking, native fingerprint support and battery life improvements are the only new features.
