The Vatican denied the news to be faux and said that the Pope was in good health unlike reported by the Quontidiano Nazionale daily. It said that the mistake committed by the newspaper was unforgivable, given the number of people worried by the news.
The Quontidiano Nazionale reported in its newspaper about the news on its front page under the title, “The Pope is sick “. The article reported tgat the Pope was visited by a Japanese doctor and his team and detects “a small dark spot on the brain”. It further added that the doctor reached the Vatican from Tuscany through a helicopter that secretly landed into the country. According to this article, the Japanese doctor, Takanori Fukushima got into the helicopter from a San Rosorredink in Pisa. When contacted, a spokeswoman for the clinic refused to respond on the issue and said any confirmations were to be made by the director, who, when tried to get in touch with, was unavailable.
