While this time Ms Udwin has again come to limelight as she recently said that she would be backing the protest against the Indian Prime Minister Narendera Modi.

In her statement, she said that though she really is not directly related to organize the protest but she would certainly would be glad to see if people in larger numbers would be protesting Modi in front of the Wembley Stadium where Mr. Modi on November 13 is coming to have a interaction with about 60,000 Indian audiences in UK.

She further highlighted that she would be really happy to see if thousands of people would be showcasing their agitation against him.

However, the reports highlighted that since the time the government banned her documentary on the grounds that it was defaming India’s image, she is very annoyed with the government’s decision.

“The Indian government, under pressure from an outcry on social media by regressive Indian men, withdrew a ban they themselves had imposed on over 800 pornography sites, but refuse to do so for a documentary that seeks a better world for women. They are embarrassing themselves,” she said.
