Puli, the Tamil fantasy-adventure film directed by Chimbudevan featuring Vijay in the lead role released on 1st October amid great anticipations. Though the film received widely negative reviews from the critics and disappointed the audience, the film managed to gross decent revenues. As per the reports, the movie collected around 10 crore world-wide on the sixth day i.e., on Tuesday.

Puli, the film which was expected to reach the standards set by Baahubali, releasing subsequently , has failed to impress the critics as well as the general public but has managed to fare decently at the box office and has set many records at the box-office according to reports. The movie released on 1st October and has collected around 40 crore world-wide during its first weekend.

The film has seen a gradual drop in the collections since then. Nevertheless, the film is receiving support from the fans and is grossing decent figures domestically and overseas also. The film collected 16 crore on the fourth day along with its dubbed versions in Hindi and Telugu languages. The collections on 5th day have been more than 10 crores.

The collection on 6th day(Tuesday) have also been around 10 crore and is expected to collect similarly on the 7th day i.e., on Wednesday
