In China Open ,Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and swiss player Martina Hingis have won against German Julia Goerges and her Czech partner Karolina Pliskova .A match which lasted for 80 min and was quite close mostly with score 7-6(5) ,5-4.The matched occurred last Tuesday in Beijing Olympic Green Tennis Cente .The pair faced the Italian combo of S Errani and F Pennetta in the 2nd round and won by 1-6,6-4,10-6 .
Sania and Martina seems to be suitable match as per their performance this year.They joined in March and won 7 women’s doubles titles thus far .This number also includes the Grand Slams ,Wimbledon and US Open.
The pair first won Indian Wells ,then won in Miami Open against Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in finals which were also their Indian Wells final opponents.Then back in April the pair won 2015 Family Circle Cup and made Mirza first India to rank 1 in WTA(Women Tennis Association)’s double rankings. “It’s a dream for every kid to be No.1 one day.” Sania said after her win.The pair were undefeated until they lost in the first round of Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.In Italian Open ,the pair lost against Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic in the finals .They lost in the quarter-finals of 2015 French Open to Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova .
Their Semi-Final Opponent is yet to be decided .But pair has high probability of winning the cup .Final is on 11th oct 2015.
