Singh is Bliing is an action comedy directed by Prabhu Deva, starring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The film released on 2nd October, 2015 and is going strong on the 5th day in spite of it receiving mixed to negative reviews from all over.

Singh is Bliing turned out to be the highest grosser in the Akshay Kumar’s career and second highest opening weekend highest grosser this year after Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie crossed 50 crore mark on its opening weekend as confirmed by Taran Adarsh . This is the second film after Brothers for Akshay Kumar that crossed 50 crore mark on its opening weekend.
Akshay Kumar managed to deliver four block busters in this year Baby, Gabbar is back, Brothers and Singh is Bliing of which Singh is Bliing topped in box office collections. The movie’s collections so far has risen up the anticipations of the film to reach the 100 crore club soon.
Though the film has been receiving tremendous response from all over, the other release on last Friday, Talvar has proved to be a decent competitor by collecting Rs. 9.25 crore over the weekend. Talvar, based on the infamous murder case of Aarushi Talwar has also received mostly positive reviews from the audience and critics as well.
As reported by Taran Adarsh Singh is Bliing collected 20.67 cr on first day, 14.50 cr on second day, 19.27 cr on third day and amounted to a total of 54.44 crores over the weekend. Its 4th day collections was 7.1 Crores which took its four-day total to Rs 61.54 crore. and is expected to collect around 5-7 crore on fifth day i.e., Tuesday.
