Tata has sold more than 60,000 cars and they have also sold light commercials in South Africa since these products were first launched in the year 2014.

In a statement released by officials of Tata Motors they mentioned that their idea is also to present the brand in a new way to their target customers and bring about a brand awareness in the local market by increasing their focus on excellent after sales services and this is being done with the help of their partner in South Africa Accordian Investments.

The recently appointed chief executive Kyri Michael mentioned that with the arrival of Bolt this will bring about a new era for Tata Motors in South Africa. This is being said because they have received positive response during their pre-launch at the customer clinics.

Mr. Michael stated, “The debut of the Bolt comes after a 3 year drought of novel models from Tata. The Bolt hatch and sedan will expand the existing product offering from Tata in the local market. We are lightened up by this aggressive latest model programme and identify that this is our best chance to make an impact in the South African zone.”
