Edward Snowden the American whistle Blower who leaked documents about top-secret mass surveillance programs is ready to return to his country . He is presently residing in Russia and offered to US that he is ready to go to prison provided that he wouldn’t be tortured.
He said that in an interview that he has offered many times to US that he was interested to come back from exile but he hasn’t got any response from the US government. Snowden has received many international awards on whistleblowing and was voted as The Guardian’s person of the year 2013.
He might have inspired many people and organisations to become more transparent but he is still faced with a sleuth of criminal charges in his home country.

What Edward Snow did goes well beyond whistleblowing. He gave classified information about our country to another country. That is unforgivable. He is no hero. In fact, I consider him to be a traitor and would appreciate it greatly if he stayed in Russia.
